As from now, students who fill in the Global Mind Monitor will receive more input to understand their personal scores – through an additional box of ‘recommendations’.

From now on, next to their score, they can go to recommendations (the button circled in green). That box opens up a new screen, with three components:

    • A short video of a professional, a colleague, or a student explaining what the concept (in this case: cultural knowledge) means
    • A clear definition of this concept in writing
    • Four concrete recommendations for students who would like to develop their skills further – in the form of exercises, reading tips, links to useful websites, podcasts and so on. The recommendations are organized into four progressive phases that accommodate different levels of comfort and engagement: reflect, learn, do and engage.

As a teacher, you obviously also want to see which recommendations your students receive. Therefore, we combined all that information in a teacher toolkit for you, available here.

We hope this new feature will help your students to use their GMM insights even better and will help you to engage in meaningful conversations on global competence with your students.

As always, we would love to hear your thoughts on this as well. So, if you have any feedback for us regarding this new content, please let us know!
