Last week, one of our colleagues had the privilege of joining over 7,000 passionate international education professionals from more than 100 countries at the EAIE (European Association of International Education)  Go‑Create conference. It was more than just a conference—it was an experience of connection, collaboration, and creativity.

Here are a few highlights:

• 💡 Examples that challenged participants to rethink how co‑creation can help younger generations tackle today’s societal challenges—locally and globally.
• 🧠 Deep dives into recognizing micro‑aggressions and learning how to address them constructively.
• 🔥 “Campfire” sessions in which exchange students shared honest insights into how they truly experience life abroad.

Between sessions, healthy vegetarian lunches were on offer and fascinating conversations with people from all over the world tok place. The biggest takeaway? In‑person connections are irreplaceable. Finally, it was inspiring to see so many working so hard to connect, cooperate, and strive toward a sustainable, inclusive future.
